Bianchi Cafe & Cycles in Milan

It’s spring after all, oh yes!! When the sun is shining, the grey sky and the cloudy days are thrown away by the smell of the blooming trees I really want to go cycling. It’s one of my fave outdoor activities in springtime and believe me: as soon as I get on my two wheels and explore roads, cities and the unbeaten paths in the countryside I immediately feel better!

Today I want to tell you a story about a perfect combo: a good, genuine and tasty breakfast and the bikes, my spring love. Yes, it’s true and it’s Bianchi cafe & cycles!

Style: elegant and minimal, chic with a vintage allure. This is my first impression entering Bianchi cafe. The furnishing is really simple, birch color with some touches of aquamarine color to boost this perfect atmosphere. Here and there some bicycles are exposed to art and everything is made to make a perfect and fresh atmosphere. The counter overlooking via Cavallotti is the best spot to enjoy breakfast in total relaxation, but if you want to take the opportunity to relax and chat more and more with friends then the sofas just beyond the entrance will surely satisfy you.

My favorite: curiosity was the first factor that prompted me to have breakfast in this cafe in the center, just few steps from San Babila. But I must admit that even before tasting the incredible goods on the counter I was enchanted by a little detail. My heart beats fast for the wonderful dishes customized with those small and lovely bikes (hey, they are also on sale, I challenge those of you who can not resist!). I really felt in love with them!

I like: the wide selection of pastries and croissants for breakfast, everything absolutely made with fresh ingredients is definitely what I like most. You can choose for a stuffed pistachio croissant, or with hazelnut cream (my favorite!), chocolate or even with jam (and here the possibilities multiply!). Lovers of savory breakfast will certainly find something just as tasty and inviting to satisfy their palates. I opted for a very classical Italian breakfast: croissants and latte, but I can assure you that even the cappuccino is not bad. Creamy, with a lot of foam, in a large cup will conquer all really.

And then, to make a clean sweep of all the guilt of calories, just go down to the floor below and choose which beauty getting around the city!
